Blake Von D: First Lady of Flashion

Where are my manners!? Rule #1 of Southern Hospitality is that when you walk into someone’s house…you speak! So forgive me for “walking” up in here and acting like I ain’t got no home training. So, let’s try this again…

My name is…well you can just call me Blake. I was first introduced to the J’Adore family back in November when I helped out with the Lisa Raye and Necole Bitchie shoot with Derek Blanks. Man, talk about somebody who was geeked! It was an amazing experience. Lisa Raye was every bit as beautiful in person as she is on TV (with a body to match), the queen of blogs was in the building and giving me LIFE on set and there are no words for the beast that is D. Blanks. As an aspiring personal stylist, you can imagine my excitement when I was asked to be a part of this movement that is J’Adore. I felt like the newest member of Young Money (Bad Boy if this was the 90s…take that, take that…lol). I jokingly call Taneish Leslie my fairy godmother, because in case you didn’t know — she makes dreams come true. Move over Oprah!

Welp…now I’m back! I gotta say, J’Adore has some of the most amazing fans in the world. We streamed live from the shoot and you guys followed me on Twitter and have been super supportive every since.
